I got to sew this fun outfit for a high tea luncheon.
I felt accomplished having my vision come to fruition, so I decided to share it.

The vernal equinox marks a new year for us. We are going into the new year with a lot of gratitude, and a determination to embrace joy, while continuing to work to bolster our community.

Life has been lifing, and I've been lifing right along.
Kongo's been in my heart, and that's requiring me to take the time to tend to my healing process.
With the changes that are taking place in nature, I am finding that I too am in transformation... and it's taking a lot outta me.
~ In other news ~
The picture is of a salad I made recently.
It's an arugula salad with black-eyed peas, shallots, oyster mushrooms (that I sautéed to brown), some potatoes all mixed with apple cider vinegar, olive oil, black pepper and salt.
It was wonderfully nourishing and the different textures and flavors were very appealing.
